Reverse Sleeping Beauty

Yeah... My original characters Seraphina (a.k.a. Hotshot) and her boyfriend Ky (a.k.a. Aquarius).

No, they are not from fanfiction. They're from an original story.

I had to do this picture 3 whole times. First I messed up the inking (I forgot to draw her ear until after I inked her mask), then the coloring was too dark (she was going to be a red head).

She control fire, he controls water, which is why there's the crummy background. But, I'm actually happy with how this came out.

The situation for this picture is something she will forever torment him about.

So.

Plus, I was working with the theme "strong female characters". And how better to do that than to reverse a classic fairytale?

Edit: I went back and did some digital editing to darken the colors a little.
